i’m a stereotyped basic blonde in my 20s. i’m a ‘glutard’, into makeup, and I love some faux fur. The only difference is, my interest in many stereotyped ‘basic’ things is my lack of health.
in my late teens i was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder that drastically changed my life including: my eating habits, my skincare rituals, what I choose to order at Starbucks, and why I worship yoga and fitness. Bracing Basic is my attempt to change the view of basic from ‘assholes’ to people who genuinely care about their wellbeing… okay and still liking some of the stereotyped things too!
